Playa Bejuco is one of Costa Rica's quieter Pacific coast gems — a stretch of unspoiled beach and rainforest tucked between two of the country's most visited destinations, yet a world away from the crowds.
Villa Los Laureles sits in Playa Bejuco, a small coastal community on Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast. It's the kind of place that travellers who know Costa Rica well tend to seek out — close enough to everything, yet unhurried in a way that the more famous destinations can no longer claim to be.
From here, Manuel Antonio National Park — one of the most biodiverse places on the planet — is just 45 minutes south. Jacó, with its surf breaks, restaurants, and nightlife, is 30 minutes north. Two beautiful beaches, Playa Bejuco and Playa Esterillos, are just minutes from your door. And your villa, with its private pool and tropical gardens, is right here whenever you want to do absolutely nothing at all.
Toucans, scarlet macaws, and white-faced capuchins are regular visitors to the property. The rainforest begins where the garden ends. This is Costa Rica as it should be.

Playa Bejuco occupies a rare sweet spot on the Costa Rican coast. You're close enough to Jacó to enjoy its restaurants, surf schools, and energy whenever you want — and close enough to Manuel Antonio to spend a day at the national park and be back at your villa pool by afternoon.
But Playa Bejuco itself remains unhurried. The beach is long and largely empty. The pace is slow. It's the kind of place that feels like the Costa Rica of ten years ago — and that, for many of our guests, is exactly the point.
For families, couples, and groups who want to explore the Central Pacific but return each evening to something peaceful and private, the location is ideal.
